Description Robert Hinson 2024-04-30 05:11:41 UTC
When I run sudo dnf update, this is one of the things I get.
Don't know if it is breaking anything.

  Upgrading : selinux-policy-devel-40.17-1.fc40.noarch 77/196
  Running scriptlet: selinux-policy-devel-40.17-1.fc40.noarch 77/196
Illegal character '"'

Reproducible: Always

I believe this bug is a duplicate of BZ#2254206.

Comment 2 Milos Malik 2024-04-30 07:28:42 UTC
I can confirm that the problem is caused by the redundant parentheses:

# yum -y install selinux-policy-devel

Dependencies resolved.

The error message does not appear after deleting the parentheses ^^^
