bump2version is now unmaintained and points to bump-my-version: https://github.com/c4urself/bump2version

so we should probably switch upstreams again. only problem is they didn't continue the versioning, so current bump-my-version is 0.21.0, lower than 1.0.1. So either we'd have to lie about the version or add an epoch.

We could package bump-my-version as a new package and have it obsolete bumpversion, I guess, but that's more work...

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle.
Changing version to 42.

This message is a reminder that Fedora Linux 42 is nearing its end of life.
Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora Linux 42 on 2026-05-13.
It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer
maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a
'version' of '42'.
