Hi, yes, it is connected to the #2276464 - disabled XPM caused this issue. Ben from the issue will bring gdk-pixbuf2-extras into Fedora to make it work even when gdk-pixbuf2 will disable the loaders permanently. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 2276464 ***
gdk-pixbuf2-2.42.11-1.fc40 was unpushed from updates-testing and never made it to stable. For Fedora 40 the fix is to downgrade to gdk-pixbuf2-2.42.10-8.fc40. The new package will only be necessary for Fedora 41+.
