Thank you for the notification. ESPResSo never passes `verify=False` to functions from `requests`, therefore the default settings of `requests` are used, which means we are not affected by the bug according to security advisory GHSA-9wx4-h78v-vm56. In addition, `requests` is only used in a GitHub-specific bot script (`maintainer/gh_post.py`), therefore updating the `requests` package to v2.32.0 won't negatively impact ESPResSo.
