Description of problem: qt-creator (8.0.2-2.el8.x86_64) requires clang-libs(x86-64) - 16.0.6 RHEL8.10, now out, provides clang-libs 17 upon which other packages depend. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 8.0.2-2.el8.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% of the time Steps to Reproduce: 1. install rhel8.9 2. install qt-creator 3. attempt to update to rhel8.10 Actual results: Problem 1: package qt-creator-8.0.2-2.el8.x86_64 from @System requires clang-libs(x86-64) = 16.0.6, but none of the providers can be installed Expected results: Update transaction begins and completes. Additional info: rhel8.10 was just released, so presumably this package needs to be updated for the new version. qt-creator is blocking updates to clang, compiler-rt, libomp, llvm-libs, mesa, and various qt5 packages.
FEDORA-EPEL-2024-01504afb21 (qt-creator-8.0.2-3.el8) has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 8. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2024-01504afb21
I've build the update this morning. But it needs up to 7 days to be published in the stable repo. You can speed this process up by testing the update from epel-testing and giving the build +1 karma. The build will be available in epel-testing probably by tomorow.
