I just noticed that this blocks bug 2263408 for updating snapbox, and that this appears to be a test dependency for the snapbox crate. If there is a circular dependency with snapbox, then keeping the tests disabled in this crate to avoid bootstrapping would be justifiable, but the comment should probably be amended to say so.
Thank you for the review! Yes, I'm working on updating snapbox to v0.6 too. I think re-enabling tests (±bumping v0.5→v0.6) after this is done would be OK. anstyle-svg and snapbox are released independently of each other, so no bootstrap builds would be involved when updating either package.
