QtDeclarative 6.7.1 is missing a patch that would fix crashes for Kate text editor, when it's using the qmlls (QML language server) binary. qmlls is a development tool that makes working with qml much easier. Here is the upstream bug report: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-123871 Here is one of the patches that should help fix it, but i am not sure if there are others missing: https://codereview.qt-project.org/gitweb?p=qt%2Fqtdeclarative.git;a=commit;h=4c4605be79e564921699a065df58333d3ee10d59 I have built my own qtdeclarative with the patch for qt 6.7.1 and for me it fixed the issue at least. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Kate editor 2. Open any Qt project with multiple QML files Actual Results: qmlls tries to start up but keeps crashing Expected Results: qmlls would not crash
