Hi IBM, yes, qemu patches need to be tracked in a qemu specific bug. Do I see right, that the kernel KVM commits had been merged for 6.11? So it would mean that when 6.11.2 stable kernel will be released, then Fedora 40 kernel will be updated to the 6.11 stream as well. If there is a strong reason to have them in Fedora 40 earlier, then please open a MR against the fedora-6.10 branch at https://gitlab.com/cki-project/kernel-ark/-/tree/fedora-6.10?ref_type=heads (the regular Red Hat kernel development process is used, see https://cki-project.gitlab.io/kernel-ark/). If the kernel patches have been already merged, then they are available in the Rawhide kernel builds and using https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/RawhideKernelNodebug those kernels can be used in released Fedoras like 40. Currently kernel-6.11.0-0.rc3.30.fc41.ppc64le is available thru that repo.
