Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Comment 1 Ben Beasley 2024-06-25 00:58:17 UTC
I believe the next release of Pydantic, which will be compatible with Python 3.13, will require PyO3 0.22; see rust-jiter 0.5.0, https://github.com/pydantic/jiter/releases/tag/v0.5.0. Since Pydantic is a leading blocker for Python 3.13 rebuilds in Rawhide, this update will be fairly urgent. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Comment 2 Fabio Valentini 2024-06-25 08:04:34 UTC
I've put the pyo3 0.22.0 update on my TODO list for today / tomorrow, depending on how fast fedora-scm-request exception tickets are processed.
