Is there anything holding you back from releasing `pyogrio` for rawhide? Is there some testing being done already with regards to rebuilding dependent packages against geopandas 1.x? If not, I'd be willing to help.
Unfortunately, I ran into some architecture-specific build errors with pyogrio, and then I was too busy to finish investigating it.
mass-prebuild has found only two issues [1] - geoplot - This appears abandoned, and several packages have stopped referencing it. I might need to retire it. - mapclassify - In fact, this is outdated, but release monitoring had a broken tag [2] and was not reporting the updates.
