This is a tracking bug for Change: Change Proposal Name: acpica-tools: Remove Big Endian Support For more details, see: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Acpica-tools_Remove_Big_Endian_Support The acpica-tools package has supported big-endian architectures for several years, but it has few uses. For Fedora 41, remove all of the patches for big-endian support and remove s390x from the list of supported architectures. If you encounter a bug related to this Change, please do not comment here. Instead create a new bug and set it to block this bug.
Hi Al, Can you provide an update on the status of your change please? It is required to be testable at this time and 100% code complete before we enter Beta Freeze on August 27th in order to continue through the F41 development cycle. Thanks! Aoife

BTW, build is here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-071d57962a
Thanks for the update Al! I will adjust the status of this tracker bug to ON_QA & appreciate the quick reply.
