The new stgit versions depend on a newer gix version than what we have packaged. We usually address this by patching the dependency definition in Cargo.toml, but this is not straightforward this time: the updates to gix 0.64 [1] (in stgit 2.4.9) and to gix 0.66 [2] (in stgit 2.4.11) both include a number of code changes. 

For now, I don't see changes in the stgit releases that are super important, so I'd prefer to postpone the stgit update until the gix update, instead of including large revert patches.
