Description of problem: python3-pyqtgraph 0.13.7-3.el9 from EPEL requires python3.9dist(numpy) >= 1.22, but EL9 has python3-numpy version 1.20.1 in AppStream. The package can not be installed due to this unresolved dependency. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): python3-pyqtgraph-0.13.7-3.el9.noarch How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to install python3-pyqtgraph-0.13.7-3.el9.noarch from EPEL on an EL9 system 2. 3. Actual results: nothing provides python3.9dist(numpy) >= 1.22 needed by python3-pyqtgraph-0.13.7-3.el9.noarch from epel Expected results: package installs Additional info:
Well, that's unfortunate. Not entirely sure what to do here, but there doesn't seem to be a great option. 1) Downgrade python-pyqtgraph (and use an epoch :((() to some version that supports numpy 1.20.1. 2) Convince someone at RH to upgrade numpy (probably not going to happen). 3) Patch out the dependency on numpy version, as pyqtgraph *seems* to work OK - at least the tests pass. Of course there could be incompatibilities lurking.
