The ticket summary is not in the correct format.
Expected:

    Review Request: <main package name here> - <short summary here>

Found:

    Review Request: python-reflink: python reflink wraps around platform specific reflink implementations

As a consequence, the package name cannot be parsed and submitted to
be automatically build. Please modify the ticket summary and trigger a

Comment 3 Peter Lemenkov 2024-08-24 15:10:12 UTC
I'll review it.

Comment 4 Neel Chauhan 2024-08-24 18:53:23 UTC
Thank you so much! Please review it when you can.

Comment 5 Peter Lemenkov 2024-08-24 21:03:35 UTC
Few notes:

* I believe spec-file should be named as python-reflink.spec.
* "BuildRequires:  python3dist(cffi)" listed twice.
* "MIT license" is not a valid value for %license field. Just use "MIT".
* Description field doesn't look right. " Python reflink :alt: Documentation Status".

Please comment/address these ones and we'll finish it.

Apart from that I don't see any other issues so here is my formal

Package Review

Issues:
=======
- Package must not depend on deprecated() packages.
  Note: python3-pytest7 is deprecated, you must not depend on it.
  See: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-
  guidelines/deprecating-packages/

^^^ this one is a false positive. You may disregard it.

- The License field must be a valid SPDX expression.
  Note: Not a valid SPDX expression 'MIT license'.
  See: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/SPDX_Licenses_Phase_1

^^^ See my comment above.

- Spec file name must match the spec package %{name}, in the format
  %{name}.spec.
  Note: reflink.spec should be python-reflink.spec
  See: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-
  guidelines/#_spec_file_naming

Thanks for your suggestions.

New files are:

Spec URL: https://neelc.org/fedora/py-reflink/2/python-reflink.spec
SRPM URL: https://neelc.org/fedora/py-reflink/2/python-reflink-0.2.2-1.fc42.src.rpm
Koji scrath build: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=122433051

Are these okay. If so, please approve. If not, please tell me.

Comment 7 Peter Lemenkov 2024-08-25 09:55:43 UTC
Looks good now. Except for the small tiny detail. Take a look at line no. 30 in your spec-file. Fix it before uploading.

Since it's just a cosmetic issue I therefore declare that this package is

Peter, thank you so much for taking the time to review this package.

If you don't mind, could you please also review my other package, a "fyi" desktop notification package? Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2306164
