Description Katerina Koukiou 2024-08-30 09:01:06 UTC
Anaconda Web UI which now targets Fedora 42 [0] for becoming the default GUI installer for Workstation ISO relies on "Live user mode patch" [1] for keyboard and language selection.

These patches were recently removed from the RPM creating regression on the supported feature set for the current Workstation ISO in rawhide, which already uses Web UI. This because the installation media is now missing support for keyboard and language selection.

Let's make sure these patches get merged upstream on time for Fedora 42 or if not possible, please inform the installer team.

Reproducible: Always

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle.
Changing version to 42.
