Hi, Could you please branch and build perl-DateTime-TimeZone for EPEL 10 ? I would need it to build another package. If you don't want or have time to maintain this package in EPEL, I'd be glad to be added to the package so I can take care of it. Indeed, I can help with maintaining this in Fedora too. My FAS username is xavierb. Regards, Xavier
This package will need bootstrapping since there are circular dependencies with perl-DateTime. The bootstrap build can be done once perl-Params-ValidationCompiler is available, which should be later this week.
Depends on perl-DateTime due to bootstrapping requirement. Once perl-Params-ValidationCompiler is available, a build of perl-DateTime-TimeZone can be done with perl_bootstrap set, which will enable a build of perl-DateTime to be done. Once that goes stable, the perl_bootstrap can be removed and perl-DateTime-TimeZone rebuilt using perl-DateTime.
What was I thinking? Back to blocking perl-DateTime. Ho hum.
This should be bootstrappable now (bootstrap build does not need perl-Parallel-ForkManager).
perl-DateTime-TimeZone was built with perl_bootstrap enabled https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2024-c95cdc3ea6
The non-bootstrap build should be buildable now. I'll wait for that before doing the dependent packages to make sure they get the real DT:TZ.
