Description Ken Dreyer (Red Hat) 2024-09-03 16:19:19 UTC
Description of problem:
cephadm can deploy jaeger tracing images. We don't support these images downstream because it will be a large effort to replatform those on to Red Hat's universal base image, and this feature is oriented more towards Ceph developers for now.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
IBM Storage Ceph 8.0

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run this command: "ceph orch apply jaeger"

Actual results:
cephadm deploys upstream jaeger and elasticsearch images from non-IBM registries

Expected results:
cephadm does not deploy upstream images
