When opening up applications, it appears that an indeterminate portion of the bottom part of application windows just gets chopped off. This is particularly problematic for the installer, as the navigation elements are chopped off. This prevents the user from successfully installing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open an application (e.g. liveinst or foot) Actual Results: Window pops up with part of the window chopped off (anaconda navigation buttons, bottom part of the terminal in foot, etc.) Expected Results: Window pops up with whole window sized in the view

It is possible to workaround this by fullscreening an app (with the keybinding Super+F), but it really doesn't help if you want to use tiling properly. And you hit bug 2311358 when doing so.
