First of all, the EPEL build doesn't need to be the latest version (and could be updated later if desired), and secondly RHEL-10 won't be released for quite a while yet no there's no rush for this.
I've built gucharmap-16.0.1 in F40, F41 and F42, @redhat-bugzilla you can clone and build the EPEL branches, though I'm not sure if the spec file will require any adjustments.
Taking this Note that since unicode-ucd in c10s / RHEL 10 is version 15, I'll be building that version of gucharmap instead. Local mock build is successful and works fine in testing so I'm kicking off an official build
