Hello. I am trying to do usual daily system update with Discover on KDE Plasma, but today I got an error that prevented me from updating. Currently I did not try any actions as I am afraid that I will break my VirtualBox setup by accident. Here is the error text I get in Discover: Internal error: Error running transaction: file /usr/bin/VBoxAudioTest from install of virtualbox-guest-additions-7.1.0-2.fc40.x86_64 conflicts with file from package VirtualBox-7.1-7.1.0_164728_fedora40-1.x86_64 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start automatic update in Discover 2. get an error 3. Actual Results: system update is not starting and throws an error Expected Results: system update updates all the packages that require updates Not sure what information I should add here.

Hi, I am getting the same issue on my main PC when using dnf update command. Is the solution to remove virtualbox-guest-additions no matter what the installation ? Regards, Shadders.
No is just one workaround until I fix the virtualbox-guest-additions I'll try find a solution ASAP
