1. Please describe the problem: kernel-6.11.1-300 does not accept the luks password on a system with an encrypted partition, it asks for a luks password on another system without an encrypted partition 2. What is the Version-Release number of the kernel: 6.11.1-300 3. Did it work previously in Fedora? If so, what kernel version did the issue *first* appear? Old kernels are available for download at https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8 : kernel-6.11.0-63 works normally 4. Can you reproduce this issue? If so, please provide the steps to reproduce the issue below: Install kernel-6.11.1-300 and then reboot Maybe this has something to do with it? Not sure: sudo dracut --force dracut-install: ERROR: installing 'Device:/dev/disk/by-uuid/8f7e929f-c3f1-4a33-8e54-dc87f811fe2a' dracut[E]: FAILED: /usr/lib/dracut/dracut-install -D /var/tmp/dracut.U4dNw4/initramfs -a Device:/dev/disk/by-uuid/8f7e929f-c3f1-4a33-8e54-dc87f811fe2a dracut-install: ERROR: installing 'does' dracut[E]: FAILED: /usr/lib/dracut/dracut-install -D /var/tmp/dracut.U4dNw4/initramfs -a does dracut-install: ERROR: installing 'contain' dracut[E]: FAILED: /usr/lib/dracut/dracut-install -D /var/tmp/dracut.U4dNw4/initramfs -a contain dracut-install: ERROR: installing 'PKCS#11' dracut[E]: FAILED: /usr/lib/dracut/dracut-install -D /var/tmp/dracut.U4dNw4/initramfs -a PKCS#11 dracut-install: ERROR: installing 'configuration' dracut[E]: FAILED: /usr/lib/dracut/dracut-install -D /var/tmp/dracut.U4dNw4/initramfs -a configuration
OK, this is actually a bug with clevis-20-3 in updates-testing, the scratchbuild of clevis-21-2 fixes it. Not the kernel at all.
