Description Davide Cavalca 2024-10-12 02:37:39 UTC
Please branch and build python-qt5 in epel10.

If you do not wish to maintain python-qt5 in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-qt5/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

Comment 1 Davide Cavalca 2024-10-23 21:20:16 UTC
Will you be able to branch and build python-qt5 in epel10?
The EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer
if you do not wish to build it on epel10.

Comment 2 Troy Dawson 2025-02-25 16:05:02 UTC
For some reason, even though I'm on the kde-sig, I didn't get any notification for this.
I've branched these. I'm doing a qt5 update in epel10, and this will get built as part of that. That will probrubly happen next week.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle.
Changing version to 42.

Comment 5 Troy Dawson 2025-03-04 14:24:46 UTC
Yep ... I knew it was too easy.

Comment 6 Davide Cavalca 2025-03-22 15:32:35 UTC
This installs fine now that https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2349730 has been resolved.
