Fixed In Version: ceph-20.1.0-63 Doc Type: Enhancement
Doc Text:
.Enhanced detection of network partitions under connectivity election strategy Previously, monitors operating under the connectivity election strategy did not provide user-facing alerts when network partitions occurred. With this enhancement, monitors can detect network partitions between themselves. The elected leader monitor evaluates connectivity scores shared by its peers to identify partitioned connectivity groups. When a netsplit is detected, monitors emit health warnings. Example of complete location-level partitions warning:: `Netsplit detected between dc1 and dc2` Example of individual monitor disconnections warning:: `Netsplit detected between mon.a and mon.d`
