This is a downstream report of https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gjs/-/issues/647 , for blocker/FE review purposes. The openQA tests show that GNOME sessions sometimes crash when testing user switching (that is, switching between multiple active sessions of different users, not just logging out as one user then in as another). Philip sent a fix for this that seems to work in my testing. I'm filing this bug to propose it as a blocker for Final, per criterion "User switching must work using the mechanisms offered (if any) by all release-blocking desktops in their default configuration." It only *sometimes* crashes, but the effects of crashing an active session could obviously be potentially bad.
