The install fails after all of the packages have been selected and the disks are formated.  I cannot say, conclusively, that this is due to the 
install program exclusively.  I have left the install the last couple of times and this has been the result when I returned.  This did not occur the 
first time I installed this version.  I believe it had something to do with a package I selected this time that I didnot select before. Unfortunately, I 
cannot recover the log file that contains the install information (reformat).  My hunch is that it has something to do with the source code, and 
the mount command.  After I saved the output below to a file, I rebooted and the "shutdown" script was unable to unmount the cdrom for the 
source.  I had the number one cd in the drive.
