Description Xavier Bachelot 2024-10-28 13:52:13 UTC
Hi,

Could you please branch and build xrandr for EPEL 10 ?
It is needed to build another package.

Regards,
Xavier

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle.
Changing version to 42.

Comment 2 Peter Hutterer 2025-08-06 23:46:17 UTC
epel-packagers-sig now added to the package

@peter.hutterer The EPEL Packagers SIG has been deprecated for a little while now. Would you be ok adding @xavier directly as a co-maintainer to work on this?

Comment 6 Xavier Bachelot 2026-01-05 18:04:26 UTC
I have no particular interest in this package, I likely filled this bug because xrandr was blocking inxi. I think Vasiliy Glazov would probably be a better fit for the job.

Comment 7 Vasiliy Glazov 2026-01-05 18:07:57 UTC
You want me add xrandr to epel 10?

Comment 8 Carl George 🤠 2026-01-05 20:34:47 UTC
Adding xrandr is what is needed to unblock inxi (bug 2321352). Like Xavier, I don't have interest in this particular package myself, just trying to help facilitate closing out EPEL bugs. I agree that Vasiliy (maintainer of inxi) would be a good candidate to co-maintain xrandr, since inxi depends on it, assuming he is willing to take that on.

Thank you all for your cooperation.
