From the better late then never department.

I've taken a look and the cut-down bundled version of mpg123 in SDL_sound does not have any of the functions which are implicated in the heap overflow mentioned in the original upstream bug-report: https://sourceforge.net/p/mpg123/bugs/322/

So SDL_sound does not appear to be affected by this CVE, closing this as notabug.
