Description Paul K 2024-11-09 15:51:06 UTC
Reclaim space option properly shows existing partitions and filesystems but does not offer an action to resize BTRFS partition / filesystem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Existing Fedora 41 installation using BTRFS as last / only partition, filling entire disk
2. Start installer per instructions at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_webui_partitioning_guided_shrink
3. Select resize existing option
Actual Results:
Existing btrfs partition / filesystem is not able to be resized.

Expected Results:
Existing btrfs partition / filesystem is able to be resized.

Thank you for testing and bug report.

However, this is not yet supported and it wasn't supported ever by Anaconda. Closing as duplicate of bug 962143.
