Are you sure that you really need this crate? Or can the upstream project of what you need this for maybe be convinced to *not* use it? It looks quite old (for a Rust project) and hasn't been updated in three years. There was an RC for a 1.0.0 version, but it looks abandoned since. The upstream developer also has no code activity in the last 12 months on GitHub: https://github.com/jjl
