Description Jaroslav Škarvada 2024-11-21 12:40:34 UTC
This starts happening after upgrade to f41.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. wget URL
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Failed to send 294 bytes....

Expected Results:
Wget works

Comment 1 Jaroslav Škarvada 2024-11-21 12:43:25 UTC
It's because it tries to use IPv6 address that resolves but doesn't work instead of the IPv4 address.

$ wget -4 URL
works

I think it should failover to the IPv4 automatically and immediately as other tools do.

Thanks, I already filed this some time ago in the Upstream and it is now fixed. I will fix this in Fedora as well.
