Hi, Please branch and build python3-stack-data in epel10, it is a dependency of ipython. Cheers, Romain
Hi. I don't plan to maintain my packages in EPEL. If you agree, I can request a new branch and make you an admin of epel branches for my packages.
Hi, I agree with that, however I am not at the moment part of the packager group. Carl contacted me last week, and he will sponsor me to enter this group. So whenever this task is validated, yes you should be able to appoint me admin for the EPEL branches (same for pure-eval if you also don't intend to maintain yourself the EPEL branches).
Great. Ping me then please when you become a packager.
Note that there are other missing dependencies apart from pure-eval No matching package to install: 'python3dist(asttokens) >= 2.1' No matching package to install: 'python3dist(executing) >= 1.2' No matching package to install: 'python3dist(littleutils)'
It seems this eventually create a circular dependency with ipython. To build python-stack-data, we need python-executing, which needs ipython, which needs python-stack-data. Most likely there is some bootstrapping or some doc/test disabling to do. The request for ipython is in #2331016
