When using the Kitty terminal, the coloured prompt is not enabled, and the default Red Hat prompt is used instead.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install Kitty
2.Launch Kitty
Actual Results:  
After launching, the minimal Red Hat prompt is displayed instead of the usual coloured prompt.

Expected Results:  
The coloured prompt should be used, like in other terminals like GNOME terminal and Konsole

The prompt's behaviour seems to be caused by a check that tests if the current `$TERM` value ends with `color`.
However, because Kitty's value is `xterm-kitty`, the coloured prompt is not enabled.

I'm not very knowledgeable of how these systems should work, but I wonder if it would make more sense to query terminfo instead?
