Description of problem: knock-server knockd.service attempts to start before the network is up Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.8.1.el8 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure /etc/knockd.conf with interface = enp0s31f6 2. Restart system 3. Actual results: [date] [system] knockd[980]: could not open enp0s31f6: enp0s31f6: That device is not up Expected results: knockd should start Additional info: The knockd.service systemctl file has: After=network.target But I think it should have: After=network-online.target to make sure that the network interface is fully up and available. Thanks. -nik
