Description Jonathan Wright 2025-01-16 17:21:28 UTC
Please branch and build python-pydoctor in epel10.

If you do not wish to maintain python-pydoctor in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-pydoctor/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: jonathanspw).

I can be the primary contact for EPEL (FAS: jonathanspw).

Reproducible: Always

Comment 1 Jonathan Steffan 2025-01-18 16:29:19 UTC
I've added you as admin and changed the EPEL contact.

Comment 2 Romain Geissler 2025-01-18 23:09:43 UTC
I think we should re-open this ticket for now, and assign it to Jonathan, and keep it open until the package hits the EPEL 10 stable repositories.

Comment 3 Aoife Moloney 2025-02-26 13:24:27 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle.
Changing version to 42.

Comment 4 Romain Geissler 2025-05-07 21:08:52 UTC
With python-lunr in testing, this could technically be built soon. However I don't know if we want pydoctor in EPEL 10 in the end, it was required initially to build other packages but we have dropped the documentation build on them.

Comment 5 Fedora Release Engineering 2026-05-06 12:04:19 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora Linux 42 is nearing its end of life.
Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora Linux 42 on 2026-05-13.
It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer
maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a
'version' of '42'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, change the 'version'
to a later Fedora Linux version. Note that the version field may be hidden.
Click the "Show advanced fields" button if you do not see it.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora Linux 42 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora Linux, you are encouraged to change the 'version' to a later version
prior to this bug being closed.
