mod2c failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f42 https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=128016716 For details on the mass rebuild see: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_42_Mass_Rebuild Please fix mod2c at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks, mod2c will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 43, mod2c will be retired, if it still fails to build. This is a leaf package, and is unmaintained upstream: https://github.com/BlueBrain/mod2c: > This repository has been archived by the owner on Jun 8, 2023. It is now read-only. So it could be a candidate for just letting it go. That said, if it is useful, it looks like it could probably be patched. There are a mixture of old-style (K&R/pre-ANSI) function declarations, functions of unspecified arguments, and general playing fast and loose with function signatures.
I think we can drop this one. If upstream is completely gone, no point us carrying it ourselves.
This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle. Changing version to 42.
