If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks, python-git-revise will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 43, python-git-revise will be retired, if it still fails to build. This is due to tests failing, and has been reported upstream in https://github.com/mystor/git-revise/issues/138. Turns out the root cause is actually a bug in git (https://lore.kernel.org/git/CACwGqKixQEGau8CZuLwJx02F4h8hxrf9e_7N1tHMU=Wvy8ViyQ@mail.gmail.com/), and upstream git is currently working on a patch to fix the regression there. It sounds like this is targetted to the next version of git (I don't know if that would be patch or minor release), so after that version is included in Fedora, a simple rebuild here should suffice.
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle. Changing version to 42.
