Description Fedora Release Engineering 2025-01-22 21:46:56 UTC
raidem failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f42

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=128102681

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_42_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix raidem at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
raidem will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 43,
raidem will be retired, if it still fails to build.

Comment 4 Bruno Wolff III 2025-02-11 02:38:00 UTC
The problem was a missing cast that was caught by stricter checking in gcc. This is fixed with 0.3.1-57. I have done builds in f42 and f43. The f43 build seemed to run OK with a short test.
