Description Fedora Release Engineering 2025-01-22 21:52:40 UTC
rust-ascii failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f42

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=128111156

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_42_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix rust-ascii at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
rust-ascii will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 43,
rust-ascii will be retired, if it still fails to build.

Comment 4 Fabio Valentini 2025-01-23 11:48:28 UTC
This is caused by a test failure due to behaviour changes in Rust 1.84.
Reported upstream: https://github.com/tomprogrammer/rust-ascii/issues/109

Comment 5 Fabio Valentini 2025-01-23 13:37:14 UTC
Skipped test for now:
