For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_42_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix wol at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
wol will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 43,
wol will be retired, if it still fails to build.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle.
Changing version to 42.

Comment 5 David Auer 2025-04-30 23:58:02 UTC
This should fix it: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/wol/pull-request/1

It looks pretty unmaintained upstream, unfortunately :/

Comment 6 David Auer 2025-06-20 10:03:45 UTC
Hey Fabian,
I'd like to pull this package out of the ftbfs hole, how can we proceed? I guess you have just a lot of packages to look after and this is understandably not a high priority. If you like you can just make me co-maintainer and I can take care of it. (Returning the favour of you co-maintaining "my" pdfarranger; fas: dreua)

Or do you have other thoughts or plans like retiring this in favour of another maintained tool? (I haven't checked whether such a thing exists tbh.)

Comment 7 David Auer 2025-07-07 16:30:04 UTC
I'll take care of this now. Let me know in case anyone wants to co-maintain.
