Description Miroslav Lichvar 2025-01-29 07:56:11 UTC
The upstream ncurses terminfo database now includes dvtm and dvtm-256color entries. They are now packaged in the latest Fedora ncurses-term subpackage, which causes a file conflict between ncurses-term and dvtm.

Please check that the ncurses terminfos work as expected and replace the files in dvtm with a dependency on ncurses-term.

Reproducible: Always

Comment 1 Miroslav Lichvar 2025-01-29 08:02:21 UTC
Alternatively, I could move the entries from ncurses-term to ncurses-base to avoid pulling in the larger package.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 42 development cycle.
Changing version to 42.

Comment 3 Doncho Gunchev 2025-04-17 10:05:10 UTC
Can confirm it is in 42 after upgrade from 41.

Comment 4 Petr Šabata 2025-04-17 14:37:44 UTC
I wouldn't say the package size of ncurses-term would be an issue. Will drop these and add the dependency.
