Releases retrieved: 2.4.5, 2.4.6 Upstream release that is considered latest: 2.4.6 Current version/release in rawhide: 2.4.4-3.fc42 URL: https://github.com/aio-libs/aiohappyeyeballs Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/ More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Upstream_Release_Monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream. https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-aiohappyeyeballs/pull-request/5 This requires poetry-core>=2.0.0. Simply loosening the version bound does not suffice.
Updating past 2.4.4 is blocked by the requirement for poetry-core>2 associated with the minor Poetry-related bug fixes in 2.4.5, but we are still able to backport the bug fix for a race condition from 2.4.6 – while we wait, and for the benefit of stable releases that won’t get Poetry 2. https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-aiohappyeyeballs/pull-request/6

This is still waiting for poetry-core 2.x, but I’m backporting the fix from 2.4.8 (on top of the backport from 2.4.6 that I already did). This will benefit stable branches that don’t get the new Poetry anyway.
