Description Michael J Gruber 2025-02-17 14:20:09 UTC
Description of problem:
The alot package as in F41 and F40 depends on python-notmuch, the legacy notmuch bindings. But alot 0.10 and later use the cffi notmuch bindings which are packaged in python-notmuch2

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.10-5.fc41

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. dnf repoquery --depends alot | grep notmuch

Actual results:
python3-notmuch >= 0.27
python3.13dist(notmuch2) >= 0.30

Expected results:
python3-notmuch2 >= 0.30
python3.13dist(notmuch2) >= 0.30

Additional info:
This would be solved by forwarding F41 and F40 to the spec version using pyproject macros, or better yet to current F42.
