BZ for tracking cephadm changes requested by IBM cloud team for 8.0z3. Requested patches were Port detection on daemon creation https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/61570 Multi-label placement https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/59114 Server_scope https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/61571 Monitoring port https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/61578 QOS support https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/61283 (+ an stunnel patch I don't think can make this release) As far as testing, we're already testing NFS QoS generally elsewhere. Beyond that, the multi-label placements could probably use testing. That includes a new "labels" parameter for the placement of service spec that allows users to specify a list of labels instead of one individual label. It also adds a "count_per_label" placement parameter. That allow specifying how many daemons should be deployed per label specified in the "labels" parameter. E.g. if you had 5 hosts each with label "A" and "B" and you specified labels: - A - B count_per_label: 3 it would deploy that daemon on 3 of the 5 hosts labeled A and 3 of the 5 hosts labeled B.
