Description Andreas Schneider 2025-02-18 14:00:16 UTC
This bug is part of the non-responsive maintainer procedure for ret2libc, following https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Policy_for_nonresponsive_package_maintainers/.

Please respond if you are still active in Fedora and want to maintain rizin.

Comment 1 Riccardo Schirone 2025-02-19 04:17:54 UTC
Hey, honestly I do not use Fedora anymore and I'm not following Rizin development either "lately" because of other stuff in life. I would appreciate some extra help maintaining the package, though I can probably go over the issues in the next days/week. Sorry for being inactive.

Comment 2 Andreas Schneider 2025-02-19 08:00:20 UTC
If you don't want to actively maintain the package, you should click on the "Orphan" button on the package page. Then the community will try to find a new maintainer.

See https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Policy_for_orphan_and_retired_packages/

Comment 3 Andreas Schneider 2025-02-19 08:02:02 UTC
Here is a description of the process: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Package_Orphaning_Process/

Comment 4 Michal Ambroz 2025-02-19 14:17:34 UTC
Hello Riccardo,
I already have commit rights - if you need some hand, just assign relevant bug tickets to me.
Or you can make me main admin and stay as second admin of the package if you prefer so.
Michal Ambroz

This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.

Hello Andreas,
I have rebuild rizin in rawhide based on the pull request from mavit
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rizin/pull-request/6

I have seen you have rebuild rizin for 42:
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2662325

Should we rebuild for 42 again? Or should we close this ticket?
