When I want to install dkms for x86_64, it asks me for systemd, I want to install it without systemd. dnf5 install dkms Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.dnf5 install dkms Actual Results: It doesn't install because it asks me for systemd. Expected Results: I would like it to install but not install systemd, instead I have systemd-standalone installed dkms-3.1.5-1.fc42.noarch from rawhide requires systemd systemd-standalone-tmpfiles-257.3-7.fc43.x86_64 conflicts with systemd provided by systemd-257.3-7.fc43.x86_64

@passymas this is for containers only right? There is no systemd in fedora 42+ container images. I've implemented the necessary changes: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2664593 I will release an update with a new DKMS release (soon) as converting to rpmautospec screwed up the release, so it will start again from 1.
I don't understand much of what you are talking about, what are containers? Now that the changes have been made, do we have to wait for the packages to be updated in the RawHide repository?
The packages are already available in rawhide. If you're not using containers, which for Fedora 42 are no longer built with systemd libraries, how do you run Fedora rawhide without systemd?
Well, yesterday I tried and I couldn't, today I did, dkms is already installed. I have the same problem, but with other programs, for example... wine, monodevelop. I started with a system that is based on Slackware, I put the Fedora DNF on it, and that is why it does not have SystemD, but it keeps for example the LxDe desktop environment. The system is LxPupSc-21.04_plus2-T-k64.iso https://archive.org/download/Puppy_Linux_Lxpup/LxPupSc64-23.01%2B4-T.iso I have my own iso uploaded to mediafire, I don't know if I can show it here, but I think the idea is understandable. wine. dnf install wine Failed to set locale, defaulting to "C.UTF-8" Updating and loading repositories: Repositories loaded. OK, sorry but this is really not something we should strive for support. I'll consider the container case as the reasoning behind the change, it covers your personal use case as well.

I didn't understand well what a container is.
