Hi Michel Lind, The RHEL packaging is using `cargo vendor`, I think we should do the same for EPEL 9/10. Is there a Fedora decision on using crate packaging instead of vendoring?
> I think we should do the same for EPEL 9/10. This ship has sailed years ago. Rust packaging in EPEL 9 and 10 matches what we do in Fedora. > Is there a Fedora decision on using crate packaging instead of vendoring? The default policy of not bundling dependencies (if possible) applies.

Is there a reason to vendor in EPEL? I understand why RHEL wants to go that way, but in EPEL it makes it so much easier to just package the same way as in Fedora
