Description Romain Geissler 2025-03-01 13:49:23 UTC
Hi,

Please branch and build python-webcolors in epel10.

Checking right now, it builds fine from the rawhide branch content: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=129708705

I may help co-maintaining the EPEL bracnhes (fas id: romaingeissler1a).

Comment 1 Romain Geissler 2025-03-08 13:36:58 UTC
Will you be able to branch and build python-webcolors in epel10?
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer if you do not wish
to build it on epel10 (FAS: romaingeissler1a).

Since I am not sure people in the infra SIG actually receive notifications, I am assigning this to the main package admin in fedora.

Comment 2 Dridi Boukelmoune 2025-03-14 08:07:52 UTC
Would you like to become the actual maintainer of this package? It's low traffic and so trivial that diffs between releases take next to no effort to review.

I used to maintain it as a dependency of another package that has since been retired. I'm still maintaining it because it doesn't take too much of my time but I don't want to be involved in EPEL maintenance.

Comment 3 Romain Geissler 2025-03-15 10:24:42 UTC
Indeed it seems to be a package easy to maintain, so yes you can add me as admin or even main admin if you no longer wish to maintain it yourself, that flies for me.

Comment 4 Dridi Boukelmoune 2025-03-15 20:16:38 UTC
I gave the repository to you: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-webcolors

I forgot to update the bugzilla assignee first and can no longer do it, I'll leave that to you.

Thank you for taking maintainership of python-webcolors.

Comment 5 Romain Geissler 2025-03-15 22:33:08 UTC
Ok thanks.
