Doc Type: Enhancement
Doc Text:
.Ceph Dashboard now supports managing Storage Classes through the UI Previously, users could not configure or manage Storage Classes through the Dashboard. Although Life Cycle (LC) policies introduced in 8.0 allowed data tiering between Storage Classes, the UI lacked the ability to define or manage the classes themselves. With this enhancement, users can configure and manage Storage Classes, including cloud-S3 class types, directly from the Dashboard. The enhancement also introduces templates for easier setup of common storage class configurations.

Description of problem:
https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHCSDASH-1896

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to Object > Tiering. A new Storage Class Management Page will open where you can create a new Storage Class by clicking on "Create".
The landing page will display a listing of all newly created Storage Classes. Each row can be expanded to show a detail section.
2.On the listing page, there are options to Edit and Delete each Storage Class.
3.Once a Storage Class is created, a new option "Tiering" will appear under Object > Bucket. A new popup will open for creating the tiering configuration. The tiering configuration allows you to create a new rule by selecting the newly created Storage Class.
4.After creating a tiering configuration, you will find the newly added Rule under the expanded row for the bucket. Two tabs will be available:
Policy
Tiering
->The Policy tab provides information about the Lifecycle progress. The lifecycle progress will change in stages:
Uninitialized -> Progressing -> Completed (once the Object transition is finished).
->The Tiering tab lists all the rules that have been created. The tab also has options to Edit and Delete the rules.
