I have a further set of improvements for Festival in-progress at http://mattdm.org/misc/festival/ There's nothing worth looking at right now, but I wanted to get this in bugzilla for tracking and coordination. The primary focus this time around is splitting the src.rpm into the component parts rather than having one monolithic package.
Okay, I've got stuff there that may be worth looking at that this point. Much of it I did a few months ago and then put on the shelf for a while, so there may be some rough edges -- use these with caution. More updates soon(ish).

Still legit. It's been on hold for a bit now but I plan to work on this for Fedora 10.
