The titlebar flickers and/or is transparent. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open AppEditor. 2. Observe that the titlebar flickers and/or is transparent. 3. Observe that the program is nevertheless usable. Actual Results: The titlebar flickers and/or is transparent. Expected Results: The titlebar is opaque and free of glitches. At one point, applying https://github.com/donadigo/appeditor/pull/139 as a patch was sufficient to fix this, but as of at least Fedora 41, this no longer helps. Forcing Elementary styles as in https://github.com/donadigo/appeditor/pull/123 might or might not work, but it would require reviving and updating the retired https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/elementary-theme package, which I’m not willing to take on just for the sake of this bug. Further discussion appears in https://github.com/donadigo/appeditor/pull/139#issuecomment-2708215462. See also https://github.com/donadigo/appeditor/issues/53 and https://github.com/donadigo/appeditor/issues/103. I don’t currently have a concrete plan to fix this, but per https://github.com/donadigo/appeditor/pull/139#issuecomment-2708225566 there are still a nonzero number of people who value the RPM-packaged version of this, so I’ll keep the package around for now.
This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
Automation has figured out the package is retired in Fedora Rawhide. If you like it to be unretired, please open a ticket at https://pagure.io/releng/new_issue?template=package_unretirement
